TSD iPad Responsibility & Optional Insurance Program for Students
Annual iPad insurance for the 2024-25 school year has been simplified and expanded to include additional coverage. As always, participating in the TSD iPad Insurance program is optional. Insurance is offered to students in grades 2-12 - Each student who wishes to participate in the Troy School District 1:1 Device Insurance Program will pay an annual insurance premium of $25 per student, not to exceed $100 per family. Kindergarten and 1st grade students are provided shared classroom sets that do not go home, thus no iPad insurance is needed.

1st Occurrence iPad Damage (NEW lower deductible - each additional $50) ___________ $20 Deductible Each Occurrence iPad Case Damage (NEW - previously not covered) ___________ $0 Deductible Tempered Glass (up to 5) (NEW - previously not covered) iPad or Case Damage that is deemed intentional is subject to full device replacement fee - not to exceed $300 or case fee not to exceed $100. Technical issues or damages are covered 100% by insurance with no fee.

Select each child, find iPad Insurance in the left-side menu and follow the on-screen instructions. (Each student must be selected individually and fee paid for device coverage).
Already paid $100 for iPad insurance, but have more than 4 children? Fill in the Family iPad Insurance Form to apply iPad insurance to the 5th+ child(ren)
