The purpose of Wass Elementary is to ensure that each child reaches his/her highest learning potential. We see each individual student as unique with his/her own strengths and abilities. Our school philosophy is to create a positive and safe learning environment where students can thrive within a world class curriculum. We know that students do better with teachers that care about them. Our teachers develop personal relationships with all students and work collaboratively to educate the whole child. Great instruction along with a focus on character core values have led to our school being named a National School of Character by Character.org and National Blue Ribbon School by the Michigan Department of Education.
